Lisa Romeo is an accomplished editor of fiction, nonfiction, and journalism, as well as a frequently published writer and ghostwriter. Each year, she helps authors polish their prose and bring manuscripts from drafts to highly polished finished works ready for submission to agents or traditional publishers, or for self-publication. She teaches in the Bay Path University online MFA program, at other universities, and at The Writers Circle in northern New Jersey. Lisa’s writing has been included in Best American Essays 2016 (Notables), and published in hundreds of venues, including the New York Times, O-The Oprah Magazine, Inside Jersey, Brevity, Hippocampus, New Jersey Monthly, Word Riot, New Jersey Bride, Skirt, The Manifest-Station, Babble, Under the Sun, Sweet, Gravel, Barnstorm, and many others. Lisa holds a B.S. in Journalism from Syracuse University, and an MFA in creative writing from the Stonecoast Program (University of Southern Maine.)
