[tweetthis] I’m still in the afterglow of Printers Row Lit Fest. I was under the tent with CWA, IWOP, and IWOC. [/tweetthis] In spite of the rain, I had a wonderful time with friendly and helpful people. Today I’m recovery by sleeping late and taking a nap. Whoo! After the excitement, the fatigues can set in. Here’s a few more things, in no particular order, that give me joy this Monday morning:

[icon name=”heart” class=”” unprefixed_class=””] Post surgery positive check-up. All systems are go and an A+ on scar healing.

[icon name=”heart” class=”” unprefixed_class=””] Mr. L’s ‘Welcome to High School Party.” Another grandchild maturing awesomely.
[icon name=”heart” class=”” unprefixed_class=””] Printers Row Lit Fest. I sold a suitcase full of books and met a bunch of wonderful writers including the poet, Owen Patterson.
[icon name=”heart” class=”” unprefixed_class=””] Deer frolicking in the retention pond after the rain. I swear, they looked like a scene out of Bambi, only alive rather than a cartoon.
[icon name=”heart” class=”” unprefixed_class=””] Beaded curtains. Miss E2 leftover streamer decorations made me think a beaded curtain would be just the thing. Thanks, Miss E2. We’re always leaving this door open for Sasha and Misha. They have their own cat door, which they rarely use. They love the beads and string.
