1,000 Words worth: 2017-1

I decided to shift gears a little this year.  Each Friday, I’ll take a photo of a very ordinary thing from, what I think is, an unusual angle.  Perhaps a close up, perhaps from underneath.  [tweetthis]I’ll say a few words and ask you for a caption or little story of your own.[/tweetthis]

Here’s my first:

“Weighed down by 75 years of M&Ms and other chocolatey goodies, the Gingerbread man could shared distant memories of “Run, run, as fast as you can.  You can’t catch me.  I’m the gingerbread man.”  The little gingerbread boys and girls rolled their eyes in disbelief.  Who would run away from a kind old woman in a warm, cozy home, anyways?  It just didn’t make sense.”

Yes, my little story is, indeed inspired by way too many sweets this holiday season.  What’s your story?

If you want some more beautiful pictures, “run, run, as fast as you can,” to Pierced Wonderings and feast on what the experts are photographing.  Jen picked “the best of 2016.”  Wow!  Gorgeous. Just click on the pink box, and you’ll be on your way.
