What delights you this week? Here’s a bit of “Kawaii.” Just looking at cute things can help us feel more positive about each other. This is CoCo’s kitten. They have so much fun together. How cute. What delights you today?
Something is in the air pushes me to focus on DELIGHT this year.
As a reminder of what delight can do for us, here’s a bit of inspiration from NPR.
Today is #ChuckyNortoriousKillerDollDay. Normally this would be nothing to smile about. Still, my movie-sensitive CoCo loves this movie. Why, I’ll never understand. Dolls with teeth freak me out more than anything horror has ever concocted.
Here’s a few other things that delight me this week:
Dismal Days: Yes, I did wake up to one this morning. There’s something about a cloudy, rainy day, that makes the autumn leaves look surreal. My hickory is in its glory. Delightful. Especially through my office window.

Dragons: Almost all of the grandchildren are beyond the Halloween costume stage. Instead of our traditional Halloween costume party, this year we had a winterize the yard party. Still, Miss A donned her dragon costume. I love her free spirit. Plus, she was a super-good helper.
Dragonfly in the grass: Not the real kind. Instead, a handcrafted one. She’s eighteen years old now and still delighting me as each season passes.

The more I look for things that delight me, the more I find delights. There’s so much in the world that makes me smile.
I hope you find delight this week.
The vaccination rate in my state moved a bit this week, rounding up to 70%. Almost at the bottom rung of herd immunity. Each positive case results in 1 new case, which is what Dr. Fauci’s goal was almost two years ago.
Are we in the clear? I wish I could say yes. But still over 1500 people dying every day. I remain cautiously optimistic.
My state still has a mask mandate, and for the most part, everyone complies.
I got my booster. Did you?
I really look forward to the day that I no longer feel the need to update readers on this subject!

I hope this week brings you delight upon delight.
