OFOTW #2: Kicking into Spring

Okay, this picture shows I’m uncomfortable with this “Outfit of the Week” Project.  My fashion blogger friend, says she always takes faces out of the post.  I wonder if my face will start to look relaxed and comfortable as my project progresses.

DSC06154I really, really want spring and warmer weather to get here.  It’s not.  It’s still below freezing.  To coax the feeling, I put on a springier colored sweater, with a camisole underneath.  The sweater and cami are both a couple of years old.  Thanks again to lingerie washing bags and line drying, it’s holding up almost like new.  The cami-keeps me a little warmer and extends the length which makes me a little more comfy with reaches.

My black, stretch corduroys are from Costco. The waist sits a little low for me, which is another reason for the cami.  I put on the walking flats from TravelSmith, just because the look like warm weather is on the way.  I wore these all over Rome, walked for miles an miles, with never a blister or ache.  I like them with slacks or a skirt.

Loved-One snapped the picture for me this week.  I think he should have told me to put my arms down.  On the other hand, I can see that I still have a waistline, so maybe it’s not all bad.

Whew! I must click the publish button now.  Yes, this is the way I really look. I’m ready to go to Mr. B’s 6th birthday party.
