It’s been a minute. Make that three years. Sometimes quickly, and sometimes, ever so slowly, things are getting back to normal. Even if, maybe, it’s a new normal, we’re getting out and about, which feels really good.
Of course I got excited when an email arrived from Gail Bordon Library. Of course I said, yes, yes, yes!
Last month, I joined IWOC at Chicago’s Printer’s Row Literary Festival. This month it’s the Fall Authors Fair. I can hardly wait to meet all the other authors.
Should I stream live on Facebook? Or maybe I should go for TikTok. Some of Mr. R1 and Mr. R2’s friends follow me there. Now that’d be a kick.

P.S. CoCo is still recovering from COVID-19 again. Despite being vaccinated, Omicron got her. COVID-19 is still out there, and despite treatments and vaccines, this Fall the prediction is that COVID-19 will be three times as deadly as the flu. Yup. The flu is deadly, too. So… I urge you… get vaccinated, wash your hands, and wear a mask if you feel sick.
