After “Listen to Your Mother” in St. Joseph’s, I traveled north to spend the night at my sister, Bonita’s. It was late, but we talked until it was later.
Bonita handed me an empty wine bottle with a LED lighted cork in it. What a great idea for a portable nightlight!
In the morning, Bonita gave me a BottleLight of my own. My goodness, a gift for the visitor. And I came empty handed.
Just a twist of the cork, and, voila, a light in a bottle.
Bonita tells me sometimes she just carries the little light around like a flashlight, instead of turning the light switch on. That way, your eyes don’t have that adjustment time.
It’s rechargeable.
Just plug it into the back of your computer or into your cell phone charger.
Bonita got mine in a local gift shop. Amazon sells the Bottlelight in packs of 3.
I didn’t have any empty wine bottles around, so I put the Bottlelight in a bud vase that Miss S made me for Mothers Day.
Gorgeous, Miss S, just gorgeous.

I think it’s wonderful how a innovation launches these simple LED lights into new uses.
