[tweetthis]Oh my! what a wonderful NaPoWriMo feature poem: Cat Lying in Wait. Prrrrrrr….[/tweetthis]
Today’s challenge (actually this is yesterday’s challenge, but I liked it so much, I couldn’t pass it up):
write a “book spine” poem. This involves taking a look at your bookshelves, and writing down titles in order (or rearranging the titles) to create a poem
I have a shelves and shelves of books. and a pile ready for a poem just sitting on my desk. This should be easy:
To Have Hold Give
Scattered by the Winds of War
unnamed personal journal
Hills Ain’t Jus’ Dirt
Letters to Loretta From the Radio Shack
Waiting for God
On Writing
A Cup of Redemption
One Nation under God
As the Twig is Bent
Thrive
unnamed reflections
Since Yesterday
The Fun Stuff
Hills Ain’t Just Dirt (again!)
Rediscover Catholicism
Networking Is Dead: Making Connections that Matter
Getaway Mom
Transformed
I usually reserve Monday for Gratitude, and today’s no different, if only a bit shorter:
- A month devoted to poetry.
- So many books to read and share
- Sunshine on daffodils
- Loren, my first brother. It’s his birthday today. If you’d like to know more about my love for Loren, please follow this link to my tribute to Loren: Golden Boy Smiles
