Photo Friday: It’s Clouds’ Illusions I Recall

I’m readying myself to follow-up on an editing contact.  I feel so vulnerable and frightened.  So instead of diving in, I ponder and procrastinate.

Bows and flows of angel hair

And ice cream castles in the air

And feather canyons everywhere

I’ve looked at clouds that way

But now they only block the sun

They rain and snow on everyone

So many things I would have done

But clouds got in my way

I spotted these clouds outside my home this week. So beautiful.  So quick to change.  And gone before I tired of them.  It looks like God is ready to reach out of the sky and point a finger.  Or puff up his cheeks and blow a mighty gale.

An omen or an invitation?

I’ve looked at clouds from both sides now

From up and down and still somehow

It’s cloud’s illusions I recall I really don’t know clouds at all

I remind myself that the editor, the dreamed-of contact, is a person just like me.  So get at it; just do it.  Right Now.
