The world’s a nicer place in my beautiful balloon
It wears a nicer face in my beautiful balloon
We can sing a song and sail along the silver sky
There’s something about hot air balloons that makes my heart soar. Perhaps it’s the colors. Perhaps it’s the quiet. Perhaps it’s the simplicity and pace.
One of the best places to see them is the home of Milk Days, Harvard, IL. Click here to find out more and start planning for next year. It’s only tiny Harvard’s second year on Balloon Festivities and already tens of thousands of visitors traveled to their Milky Way Park to join the fun.
The best part is the Glow. Each night, weather permitting, the balloons coordinate the lighting of their flames to music. Magnificent! I didn’t get a photo of that, although, here’s a few from the Sunrise Launch I saw.
Doesn’t the idea of floating over the land and sea as the sun rises and sets just lift your heart?
