Sunsets on Lake MichiganAh the bliss of a vacation:  no routine, no kitchen, no electronics beeping, talking, demanding.  Just the beach, the bike trail, and the campfire.  Ice cream every night.  These this fill me gratitude because:  a) I love the outdoors, b) I love that my family loves what I love, c) I am physically  and financially fit enough to enjoy all of this.

I confess, I may be a BBC addict.  It started with Dowton Abby.  Next I got hooked on Sherlock.  Withdrawal set in, so I moved on to Mr. Selfridge.  These were just the gateway shows.   I met with my pusher, Mom.  She introduced me to Call the Midwife and Doc Martin.

I became much more focused during April.  Maybe that’s why I had a little more progress.  Keeping myself accountable is doing wonders for my concentration.  I’m such a slave-driver of a boss.

My Game plan for 2014:

  1. Get my novel published:  I will get editors, a cover designer, and a publisher.  I will.
    Progress: My content editor,Lisa Romeo, is almost finished with her editing.  The first of five beta readers is finished.  I sat down with her and discussed A Land of Milk and Honey.  She filled me with such confidence and encouragement.  She’s a proven nitpicker of an auditor.  Just what I need.
